Yoga 101 - Beginner's Basics
Excellent for anyone who wants to try yoga but not sure where to begin

Yoga is becoming a highly recommended practice/lifestyle that is being adopted by many worldwide! We see a lot of cool looking poses on social media, which can make it seem intimidating to say the least but that is not all there is to yoga. Seeing "poses" is only a part of the practice in yoga, aka the body but still connected in mind and spirit in wonderous ways. This class is dedicated to all beginners with a hatha flow with beginner level yoga poses only to help the student learn the pose, the proper alignment of the pose/using blocks or variations for the pose, along with focusing on the breathe to get the full benefit of each pose through the flow. Yoga Type: Hatha (Slow Vinyasa) Time: 1 hour (45min hatha flow/ 15 min deep relaxation meditation) Props: None (optional: yoga blocks, yoga bolster/pillow, yoga strap, yoga blanket) No matter where you are in your practice, beginner or advance, you can truly benefit from covering the foundations of any practice. I invite you to join this class and find out for yourself! Please sign up for class at least 3 hours before class begins. ***Please also sign the health waiver BEFORE class begins*** This is a virtual class via Zoom. Link will be sent after signing up! I look forward to class with you! :) Please feel free to have yoga blocks and straps if needed! They are fun to use as well especially if you're looking to increase your flexibility a bit!
